There is an idea that children come into this world naturally tolerant and compassionate. They don't.

Kids come into this world totally self centered.

It is not their fault. That is how we all are born.

Adults need to teach them how to be kind and compassionate. To be the kind of person other people will want to be around.

But we often fail.
