In the State of Mississippi, it depends on the relative ages of the person and the (younger) victim. Sex of the person is NOT mentioned in the law. Thus a female who has intercourse with a younger boy may well be guilty of statutory rape. The law, linked in #25, will clear up any confusion.

So, if a female is 14 and the boy is 13, is that ‘statutory rape’?
In this case we know the purported age of the female. Given that, whether it’s statutory rape depends on the age of the male.
