It's amazing. Nigel Farage and Reform UK has a platform that is more or less the same as establishment Republicans in the United States: Lots of bravado about "conservatism" but voting like Democrats going the speed limit.
But because they are the only viable right-wing option for the moment, people voted for them in spades in Thursday's local elections. They are estimated to pick up well over 1,500 council seats across the country (they previously had TWO), while the left-wing Labour Party crashes out.
Leftists are so deranged that they can't tolerate democracy any more. Anyone who isn't to the left of Gay Stalin is an existential threat to them. 😂😭
I do appreciate that they are trying to make Reform's win seem like a bad thing by arguing the party will set the country "back" to the time Britannia ruled the waves!
But my favorite part of this video was this commie's TikTok handle, which is literally "Devour The Bourgeoise":

These people literally come from the jungle. The lady at my old job was head of human resources. She was from Borneo. She said when she was growing up, her family lived in a hut on stilts because of the flooding. She said they had an orangutan who used to help them wash their clothes in the river and he had huge ticks like golf balls.

I want to be really clear about what our aim is following yesterday’s historic victory.
Win the next general election, and I have never been more confident we are going to do exactly that.
What happening in Great Yarmouth was seismic.
Turnout soared. We brought thousands of people to the polling station who have never voted before. We got more votes in this local election than I received in the general election.
The implications of it all must not be underestimated.
Despite everything Reform threw at us, we decimated them in every single seat. Farage said we wouldn’t win one percent. He was right. We won almost fifty.
The nine wards across Great Yarmouth are so varied. From Winterton in the rural north, to the urban centre of Great Yarmouth itself.
We won the nine seats, and the borough council by election, but within those wider seats we won every single ward by a mile.
If we can win in every one of those areas, we can win anywhere.
As I promised, we are going to give the British people a genuine alternative - we are going to provide an option to elect people from outside the rotten political establishment.
We did that in Great Yarmouth, and we delivered a landslide victory.
That was step one. Now, we go national.

1. no citizenship possible
2. only one basic cellphone without useable internet capability
3. outbound calling limited to 60 minutes a month
4. inbound calling limited to 200 minutes a month
5. no cable, fiber-optic or satellite service to your residence
6. no license of any kind
7. no driving a motorized vehicle on a public road (except driving across it in a farm equipment vehicle)
8. no ability to fly to a destination in the USA
9. employers to pay a tax rate increasing year by year of residence in the USA on earnings not paid into your return home fund
10. return home fund to be distributed:

no. unfortunately, it’s just too toxic of a topic. It’s great when you’re a candidate but when you’re the actual person in charge, no one wants to get their hands that dirty. The press would follow the trucks around with the crying babies and you would just get wiped out in the next election
I totally agree with your insight.
This is how I would explain it.
Farage is considered a vulgar clown by the elites and UK Elite Stream Media.
In America the political class and Elite Stream Media thought they could take Trump down by portraying him the same way.
Crooked Hillary said of Trump that she did not like his tone and Trump thought that was funny and sarcastically ridiculed her for that.
Maybe Trump was vulgar and uncouth but he wasn't apologizing for who he was nor was he changing who he was.
Americans will take a splash of uncouthness as it indicates someone is genuine and not molding himself into a palatable nothingness.
The Euroweenies are a haughty bunch and they hate Trump for what is to them his uncouth manners as much as they hate him for his unapologetic nationalism.
Even though they may align with Farage's diagnoses and his prescriptions they will ulitimately reject him for his manner and his background.
Lowe can say the same thing as Farage but he will be far more acceptable because of his polished manner and his background checks more favorable boxes than Farage.
