“Hasna is no longer transiting to Iran.”
Oh, No, Not my Rudder!
That’s protected by LSMBGTetc.
“I fired a warning shot through his liver, Sir.”
THIS is what I voted for, not returning $$ to the mullahs under some warped ‘agreement’.
Oh boy...these will be interesting “peace” talks ahead. I’m sure the Paki’s can help get things sorted
CENTCOM: “After Hasna’s crew failed to comply with repeated warnings, U.S. forces disabled the tanker’s rudder by firing several rounds from the 20mm cannon gun of a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet launched from USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Hasna is no longer transiting to Iran.” Those boys are just training now.
I know they will be thinking about catastrophic oil spills in the Strait. And Iran may recklessly act without caring if they think they won’t have a future economy to worry about in Paradise.

Disable them, Tow them back here, Pump them dry.
it’s time to buy stock in ocean going tugboat companies.
Makes sense, since it was headed back to an Iranian port.
A solution might be to let all tankers in and out of the gulf. All oil sales of Iranian oil will go into an escrow account administered by a neutral nation such as Switzerland. This money will be used for rebuilding Iran’s infrastructure but administered closely by the neutral nation. Not one damn Rial for arms.
Iranians are not a death cult. The radical Mullahs at the top are a death cult. When and if Iran is free, many Mullahs will die at the hands of their own people. Perhaps judicially or extra juridically. It will happen.
I would hate to see many wells have their production damaged by shutting them in. If you want to understand this just google “why does shutting a well in damage production.”
The damage is real for future production. It can be repaired via kicking off a new bore hole at dept or certain “work over procedures.” All costly, but the oil and or gas is still there to be produced.
The damage to a horizontal production borehole is very bad. The horizontal would probably need to be re-drilled. I do not know how much horizontal drilling is used in Iran.
