A curious GenZ BRIT talks about why GenX is missing from all of the talk...

Amen!
Probably AI created, but spot on. I wish that our young folks could have lived this. None of the youngsters gave a rat’s patootie about politics back then.
It was freedom for sure.
"None of the youngsters gave a rat’s patootie about politics back then."
I thank you both and wish you both peace.
That is funny. I did it in the 50s though. The cars were different and big wheels weren’t invented yet.
You and me both. I could even learn to love disco!
.
I was a wee one in the 50’s. 50’s 70’s 80’s were the best.
Throw me some BeeGees!!
I loved listening to my dad’s 50’s 8-track tapes.
Guess what.
It wasn't.
We find you ignorant and unwilling to either work or learn.
Shut up and leave us alone.
Grr..
3am here (Hawaiian time)..
Can’t imagine what time it is for you guys/gals... (5-6 hours ahead of me).. so going to get some sleep.
Will continue this tomorrow (later today), if it is still going ..
Peace all, and take care!
Bikk
I think Older Gen Xers often get tossed into the same Scorn pot with the younger still living Boomers...that is why Gen xers appear not to be in the conversation...they are.
I loved the Bee Gees. Most of them are deceased, but they were great. You develop a taste for their style. The harmony was special.
I am a music lover of all types anyway. 😀
Boomer is just anyone older who has their life more or less together.
I knew guys who had 8 tracks with loud speakers hooked up in their cars. Real contraptions that took a lot of creativity. That was a big then.
We swapped car radios on our own regularly. My first hand me down auto had a horn that didn’t work. I hooked up a push button doorbell to dash board to fix that issue. Beep, beep.
Ever tie an M-80 to a rock and toss it in a creek? You can feel the ground shake when it goes off.
Then I got a ticket first day of senior school year for doing 57 in a 20. ;-p
Reduced to a faulty muffler cost me $45 for a lawyer.
