The Trojans should have listened to Laocoon.

I hope it’s good. Nolan’s best movies are marvelous. But some of them are either incomprehensible - or made for much smarter people than me.
In every fiction there is some truth.
Odysseus existed more than as the invention
of a poet.
I’ve never seen a film directed by Nolan although I consider myself somewhat of a film buff as I have at least thirty semester hours in cinema.
I was so over Batman movies when this guy took over directing them and frankly 21st century cinema doesn’t have that much appeal to me.
Love mythology but I’ll probably pass on this one.
I did think Troy was pretty well done.
They had a 1973 Sinbad movie on THC the other night. I started watching and paused it and just watched the commercials:)
"Helen of Troy":
Hard pass. Not spending my money on this epic of White erasure.
I’ve loved the Iliad and the Odyssey since I was a kid, and I make it a point to watch any movie Christopher Nolan makes, but the casting for this movie sounds terrible. Anne Hathaway? Charlize Theron? Matt Damon - as Odysseus?

I'll make it work. I'll turn this movie into a comedy. I'll emulate Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993).
Set a reminder for when it comes out.
Actually a movie I want to see.
THX
Why don’t they make a movie where a young black super hero keeps assaulting white girls and female judges keep letting him go.
Stuns? I didn’t think that Variety carried Nolan’s water.
It made the Greeks famous for looking for the back door, it still carries that name today.
And yet the article doesn't include this footage.
This might get me back to going to the theater. OH WAIT! Our 25 year old six plex theater closed. Last time I went there was 2010 to see the remake of True Grit.
But then, if it is like most movies shown today it will be out on DVD in three months or sooner.
Sounds exciting. Unfortunately, we can’t see movies in the theater anymore, because my husband is on supplemental oxygen 24/7, and his portable oxygen concentrator doesn’t last long enough for an epic film. I doubt if the movie theater has electrical outlets for him to plug in the adapter to keep it charging.

The Odyssey - I've Got a Bad Feeling About This...
Dear God. Nolan used Emily Wilson's feminist interpretation...er, translation of Homer's work.
Cue the one word clip of Cavil's Geralt of Rivia.
Hollyweird, you have a financial death wish.
