‘Sopranos’ Star Michael Imperioli Put Adam Sandler Leech Rob Schneider In A Body Bag Over His Call To Reinstate The Draft #Michael Imperioli
Brobible ^

Rob Schneider, who has never served in the military and is now too old to do so, took to social media on Friday to call for the United States to “restore the military draft for our nation’s young people” amid the ongoing war with Iran that was started by President Trump and Israel.

“We must once again recommit ourselves to one Nation under God, indivisible. Therefore, we must restore the military draft for our Nation’s young people,” Schneider said. “Each and every American, at eighteen years of age, must serve two years of military service.”

The Sopranos star Michael Imperioli absolutely cooked Rob Schneider’s ‘comedy’ over his calls to reinstate a military draft

While Schneider’s take was swiftly and widely lambasted on social media, perhaps the most cutting response came from Michael Imperioli, who suggested Iran would surrender if they had to listen to Schneider’s “comedy.”

“I’ve got a better idea. Let’s just send Rob to Iran to perform his comedy. They will surrender immediately and unconditionally,” the fame Christopher Moltisanti actor shared on Instagram.

Imperioli’s shot at Schneider is reminiscent of when the late, great Norm Macdonald absolutely cooked him while appearing on Conan.

The conflict between the U.S. and Iran began at the end of February, with military strikes coordinated by the Trump administration and Israel targeting Iranian military infrastructure, nuclear facilities, and leadership.

Despite recent suggestions, however, the Trump administration says they have no plans to reinstate a military draft at this time. Given the admin’s penchant for deception, though, the anxiety about the return of the draft continues to permeate.

That headline is soup. That being said, for those that are spouting off without knowing, Schneider is a pretty hardcore conservative and his stand-up is very MAGA. There’s likely more here than is being reported.

Typical non-military idiot trying to sell the public on how to run a sortie. There is only so much need, which is being filled by our volunteer military, with only so much equipment and so many slots that are being accomplished right now. There is no right in might and thinking if you get more people you’re better or stronger. It isn’t needed.

The US can destroy the world now so will more people destroy it more times? Only takes once.

You didn’t spend much time in uniform didja?

Article 15 is administrative action where minor infractions of the UCMJ are dealt with by commanders. Nobody is discharged in an Article 15. We get it that you don’t want to be drafted.

Probably for the best for all of us who did serve. Some people really don’t have the talents for it.

You are quite childlike.

That's an opinion. And if it takes a child to call out that the Emperor has no clothes, so be it.

I spent four years in uniform but that has nothing to do with it.

True, but a Company Grade or Field Grade Article 15 is not likely surviveable.

Stand up as a Company Grade or Field Grade Officer and say that women "harm military readiness and capabilities" and you're done for. You'll first get an Article 15 and then marked down on your next OPR, effectively ending your career.

Depending on where and when you said that women "harm military readiness and capabilities", your discharge for High-Year Tenure after failing to make your next rank will likely be a General Discharge Under Honorable Conditions or an Other Than Honorable Discharge.

When did you serve?

I did serve but one doesn't need to have served to make this case.

Saying one need to serve in order to validate the point is the Fallacy of the Inner Sanctum. Anyone can make the point, they don't need to be part of some Inner Sanctum.

The non-feminists are half the female population. They just aren't very loud, because they are not feminists.

Loud, quiet - it doesn't matter. All women can vote to draft men for war and can serve in office to draft men for war. Then let women be drafted also.

Do you think a 50% female Marine Corps is weaker than all male, stronger than all male, or that it has no effect at all, and wouldn’t even after decades of a 50/50 Marine Corps?

I agree. I am 59 and served when nothing was going on but a recession. I was one of 2 ROTC cadets to get active duty with 200 applicants. Iraq was in the future. Got injured surfing and they got me out fast. Only non scholarship soldier in the program. Hit Air Assault Scholl tho. Pretty fun.

Boot camp is not fat camp. This is not Stripes with John Candy. American youth need to get fit not for the military but for life. Volunteer army is best.

I got to Lackland AFB for Basic Training to have the fall of Saigon happen halfway through training.

That allowed me to serve with draftees that had not had time in service to be discharged.   My shift supervisor at my first duty station was one of those real sad sacks.   The OSI arrested him for selling contraband, porn and more out of his barracks room.

Women have nothing to do with the question of the Draft.

We also saw that women had an easy out, just get pregnant.   When I was a shift supervisor at my last duty station, a young cute WAF was on my shift.   She was more interested in making sure her lip gloss was perfect than working the job.

She was able to snag a Sergeant in the Crypto Maintenance shop.   Crypto Peeps had to walk through our Tech Control to get to their Crypto Maintenance Vault. &nsbp; I went to their wedding.   Ten or fifteen years later, when we both worked for MCI, I won a region outstanding performer award and the former Crypto Sergeant had won the award too.   I asked about his wife and he looked at me like I was crazy.   They had been divorced for years.

If you have never served, any opinion you might have is flawed at best.

Worthless as far as I'm concerned.

Rob Schneider was born in 1963. Lebanon was 1982-83. Grenada was 1983. Honduras was 1983-1989.

I was also born in 1963. I was a Freshman in college during Grenada. But the whole time things were touchy in both El Salvador and Nicaragua. I had entertained the idea of joining the Air Force if we were going to take care of the Sandinistas. There really wasn't the political will to have a draft level deployment made during that era.

many volunteers are being sent to a pre-basic so that they can get into shape physically and get some remedial academics for basic and of course volunteer means lots and lots of females.

“In the academic track, 95% of students moved up at least one test category and increased their test score by an average of 18 points. In the fitness track, 87% of students graduated within their first four weeks, with an average weekly body fat loss of 1.7%.”
