It moves the ball in the wrong direction. Maybe not by much, but definitely in the wrong direction.

By much. He alienated about half his base with this stupid post. Unless this is the prelude to some big news coming out, this is shaping up to be a 60%-40% Democrat wipe-out in the midterms.

I’ll tell you one thing. After this fiasco, Trump’s endorsements are going to mean less. And for some conservatives, a lot less.

Others here have pointed out all the good that Trump has done. They are certainly correct. But in any organization (including MAGA) morale matters.

And morale is very much an emotional thing. It isn’t based on cold, hard facts.
