I asked Grok whether they are Christian, thinking they might not have realized how offensive this would be. They both claim to be Christian, and Scavino is Catholic.
Being edgy is one thing, but when the left is already accusing Trump supporters of being in a cult it is too much to trust the society - especially with the powers of darkness lined up against us - to process the nuances of sarcasm or how outrageous it is for Leo to think he should rule the United States.
When my oldest was 17, he was making plans for a halloween party and despite the fact we attend mass every Sunday, that he had been baptized, taken first communion, and been confirmed - he said he was going to dress as Jesus.
My wife was horrified. I handled the discussion a little more calmly - he was nearly an adult. His decisions - and the repercussions of them - were soon going to be his own. We raised him to believe in God, but as an adult - even though he *was* confirmed - his faith would also be his own path.
I just wanted to hear from him *why* he thought it was a good idea... “Just trying to be edgy and funny.” It was a good talk - rather than me just *telling* him he was wrong, he got there himself and decided on a Homer Simpson costume instead.
But - he was 17. And 17 year-olds think they know everything despite often not thinking too much; I remember being that age too.
DJT is not 17 and needs to stop acting like it.
