Are is the money word their Pope used: "MULTILATERALISM". So if this Pope and this Vatican wishes to take this political position and move out of their lane then the whole lot of them are fair game to be exposed for their hypocrisy.

If the Pope is not a political leader then he should not weigh in on complex geo-political issues. Jesus was silent on such equivalent issues involving the Roman Empire..._

But this has been Vatican doctrine for a long time.

Yes, it is sometimes hard reconcile my Catholicism with elements of my Conservatism *and* my American patriotism.
