What did either do to create the Strait? What does either do to maintain it? Sounds more like piracy.

Dumbest idea ever. So Iran has something they didn’t have before the war started, control of the Strait of Hormuz. And they get money to start rebuilding their infrastructure and terrorist networks. SMFH
