Europe bets on California’s Gavin Newsom as a strategic counterweight to the Trump agenda.
Donald Trump’s opposition to climate policy and mass immigration is putting massive pressure on Europe. There, preparations are underway to support California governor Gavin Newsom. He is expected, as the 48th president, to prevent a continuation of Trump’s policies.
America remains a country of high social mobility and upward opportunity -- something we no longer see on today’s European continent. It may sound kitschy to many Europeans, yet America's vibrant economic centers, high geographic mobility, and the flexibility of its people still create the conditions for this unique phenomenon.
Admittedly, the narrative of the “land of unlimited opportunity” may sound exaggerated today -- something akin to self-promotion. Yet at its core, it still holds true. Can one still make something of oneself in the U.S.? Donald Trump’s deregulation program, combined with tax cuts for businesses as well as small and medium incomes, has in any case helped to revive this promise of upward mobility.
Trump’s policies go hand in hand with the elimination of fiscal privileges and subsidies. His goal: the systematic dismantling of the fiscally secured and media-backed strongholds of power of a socialist apparatus that reflects the spirit of European regulatory policy.
Put simply, under Trump, American nationalism and a rejection of ideological engineering have returned to the political agenda. With intense competition and market-driven policies at home, alongside a trade and tariff strategy reminiscent of presidents like Alexander Hamilton and William McKinley, this forms a clear countermodel to his predecessors. They had significantly advanced the European model of climate socialism as a tool of power consolidation.
For the record: it was President Barack Obama who, in 2009, identified carbon dioxide as a lever of power, integrated European regulatory frameworks, and began systematically

Birds of a feather. Commie trash support commie trash.
Thus, Europe is investing in another big steal for a NWO communist lackey to be put in the WH. Newsom is nothing more than a coddled criminal who takes orders from the mafia, one of the enforcement wings of the NWO pukes.
Or are you under the delusion that it, like the 2020 election, was a valid tabulation & election?
Yes, in 2028, they may again be successful in stealing the election with illegals gaining access to the voting booths.
The Democrat Party is a desperate political party and the result is that they will hold back nothing to regain power.
When they do, they will do whatever it takes to make sure that they obtain absolute control, because power corrupts, and the Democrats & RINOsa both seek abosolute power so that their corruption faces no more threats to theirt power.
California fell because the democrats managed to endrun every attempt at controlling the border. They imported a replacement population. This is now the democrat’s model for the nation.
Governor Spraytan Hairgel is the Anglo camouflage for a party that wants to turn North America into a global commons.
2028 is going to be a different election.
Newsom vs Vance? Or Newsom vs Rubio?
Right now, if I have to bet, Rubio will win. But if it's Vance, then Newsom will win.
Neither does Gavin Newsom! Maybe he should run for President of France instead.
“Too early to predict.”
Yes, too early. The Dems will not nominate Newsom. Currently Stephen A Smith leads for the Dems. The career politicians and the media do want a career politician and will not consider or give time to Stephen A. Smith.
For the Republicans, the big question will be whether the Trump cult faction of MAGA can accept anyone but Trump. Events and issues change. Candidates will change to address the current issue and not yesterday’s issue. But some Trump loyalists will be rigid and not flexible. They will not be able to change.
Currently in GA the Gov race seems to be between Jones & Jackson. Carr & Rafensberger are failed officeholders in their current offices & can’t be seen as major candidates.
But Jones & Jackson are throwing dirt at each other about the past. If they can’t focus on the present and future the Republicans will lose for governor if the Democrat is someone like Michael Thurmond.
Maybe not. Wes Moore is a potential dark horse.
