Well, no wonder you know so many details about all the feasts. You are a native New Yorker, and in your heart, you always will be. You have seen the before/ during/ and after many local changes.
I feel somewhat that way about Detroit, Michigan,
where I grew up at. For all of it’s problems over the years, I still recall plenty of good times during my younger years. I’m on the other side of the country now, though. Probably for good.
