I still have to validate the code, but I will get done in one month what it took ten people, ten months to do.
Refactored from dotnet 4.8 to dotnet Core 9, introduced Dependency Injection (to legacy code) and whipped up a full set of automated unit tests.
I’m surprised that worked at all. Every time we look at Core we find it doesn’t have anything we do in .Net 4.8. The AI is pretty good at scut work though. And debugs pretty well. It has its strengths. Whether or not we should getting rid 25% of our work force for it though...
