President Donald Trump has reportedly already fired Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to two sources familiar with the matter who spoke with Fox News Digital.

Bondi met with Trump in the Oval Office on Wednesday night ahead of his speech to the nation on the war in Iran where was reportedly informed of her ouster, according to two sources familiar with the meeting.

One of those sources said that by the time Trump took his place behind the podium for the address, Bondi had already lost her job and was on her way back to Florida.

Trump is reportedly considering replacing Bondi with Environmental Protection Agency Director Lee Zelin, according to the sources familiar with the matter. Trump held a meeting with Zeldin at the White House Tuesday to discuss wildfire and prevention, where talks of the transition also unfolded, according to an individual familiar with the meeting.

That source relayed to Fox News Digital that Zeldin would be a plausible replacement, adding that Trump could change his mind at any point.

WSJ confirms that Pam Bondi is out.

That didn't last long. But accountability is a good thing.

Bit of a shame - I had hopes she’d do a better job. Talked the talk, but unfortunately did not walk the walk.

Zeldin has done an outstanding job at EPA—real accomplishments undoing a disastrous fifty years under both parties.

Bondi is not only a bad lawyer, she appears to have no sense of what a good lawyer is. Sympathetic Trump-appointed judges struggle to find a basis to rule for the DOJ; every other judge ruled against her DOJ almost by default.

She is the center of rumors of breathtaking corruption in the pardon and other important DOJ processes. Her being out may unleash a deluge of accusations along those lines, particularly if someone outside the Mar A Lago set replaces her.

Exactly so. We’ve seen this movie before - Trump loyalist but once in the job, seem to become enshared in bureaucracy and listen to the wrong people.

Eric Holder was Obama’s “wingman”. Trump needs a wingman.

Out as AG, but staying in DC.

Is she being appointed to a made-up job like Kristi Noem?

One thing us Trump supporters should recognize is that regardless of who is at the DOJ, the DOJ cannot prosecute every real and imagined felony and misdemeanor of the past and PRESENT.

There are some issues of the PAST that are crying over spilt milk. We cannot tackle all of them. We need to move on.

Priority must be set for the issues that are handled. More and better brain power on some issues; less on other issues.

We, the US, does not have money to do everything. I think one criteria should be: Will it improve or degrade our money situation...both in actual current money... and in setting a path toward good money management in the future.

DOGE on steroids should be a high priority effort of the DOJ and of others in supporting the DOJ.

HHS is the biggest spender of money and the biggest source of WASTE FRAUD ABUSE. Until we get the money at HHS under control, we will not have enough money for anything else in the Budget.

Deloitte is one of, probably the, biggest WASTE FRAUD ABUSE of HHS money... and of STATE money in the 25 states that have Deloitte IES, mostly the big states... CA, NY, PA, TX, FL, IL. GA etc. If we were to cancel all fraudulent contracts of Deloitte, it would send a message to the many other fraudulent contractors.

Much of the other WASTE FRAUD ABUSE is based on Deloitte FRAUD. Fraudulent welfare recipients are tempted and enabled in FRAUD activity due to the garbage that is the Deloitte Integrated Eligibility System.

So I’m officially giving up on President Trump. Hope the Freeper haters enjoy themselves.

God bless the United States of America, and God bless President Trump.

I’m not going to rant here on the daily with TDS spew like so many Freepers do. And I’m not leaving the site (so don’t waste time with the dumb, “Well ... bye” memes.) So dumb.

But first Noem, and now Bondi, both extremely effective cabinet members, especially Noem, who was fantastic at DHS.

The president replaced Noem with Deep State swamp rat Markwayne Mullin, who will ensure that nothing effective is accomplished.

Maybe Markwayne will spend his time with bro hugs for the killer cop who murdered Ashil Babbit? Will Markwayne ask the president to bro hug the murderous, incompetent cop too?

With Bondi, who’s the replacement? Jeff Sessions? William Barr?

Anyway, Godspeed and best of luck Mr. President. As for me, I’m over it.

I do hope to have my mind changed by successful actions and successful results.

Amen.

If he *does* end up being the pick - and obviously, it’s DJT’s choice - I hope people give him space to work.

What he’s done at the EPA? It wasn’t loud, it wasn’t made for headlines, it didn’t involve a lot of social media or flashy cable or podcast interviews. It was just good, solid, conservative work without a ton of fanfare.

I hope that, if he IS the pick? People give him space to work - prosecute fraud, do a better job on immigration cases, uphold the constitution and laws of the land, etc. I think he could and would do so, even if it doesn’t provide the fleeting satisfaction of high-profile perp walks and the like.
