‘We’re Entering A Constitutional Crisis In The US’: James O’Keefe Served Restraining Order While Live On Air

O'Keefe served restraining order for domestic violence by former Project Veritas board member.

Independent journalist and O’Keefe Media Group founder James O’Keefe was served a restraining order while he was filming a live show this week.

Footage shows a sheriff’s deputy walking into O’Keefe’s studio and presenting him a restraining order filed by former Project Veritas board member Matthew Tyrmand, accusing him of domestic violence.

“This is insane. There’s a sheriff in my studio serving me domestic violence documents because the board member said he wanted to murder me,” O’Keefe said.

“And I know you’re just doing your job and I get it,” O’Keefe told the officer, adding, “I understand, but we’re entering a constitutional crisis in the United States. And today I’ve got a police officer bringing me to court.”

Tyrmand was the subject of an OMG sting op last month where O’Keefe confronted him inside a restaurant asking why he’d made death threats towards him.

“Very unusual for a Judge to grant a temporary restraining order against a newsroom. I’ve had these filed before,” O’Keefe wrote on X, adding, “We stand by our reporting and will fight for the 1st amendment.”

A court hearing on the matter will be held on April 1st at 9:00 a.m. at the Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse Center in Miami, Fla.

unsurprising, some year old lady hit me in a parking lot while I was properly parked, I was walking back to her car and I saw her backing toward my car too fast and yelled at her to stop.

then she refused to give me her ins info and said the paint transfer and stuff was just dust on my car (it was pouring rain) and tried to leave

I was able to get the cops to come out and get her info but as soon as theyy left she hit my car again on purpose.

I was like wtf and pointed back to the parking space she had backed out of and walked out into the parking lot to call the cops again when she accelerated her car toward me and I had to jump so I would not get run over, while hanging onto her hood she continued driving to the end of the parking lot until she got to the main road and was looking back and forth to get on the main busy road so I hit her windshield with my fist as hard as I could cause I did not want her to be driving in traffic with me on her hood.

she reversed and threw me off her hood and drove away.

called the cops again and told them what happened and they said no prosecutor is going to charge a sympathetic old lady

A month later the cops from another city served me with a no contact and protection order because she claimed she got screws in her tires that I must have done that while she was at the YMCA (despite the fact I was at work 40 miles away and had proof)

I tt several atty and they wanted 5-8k to defend me and said they could probably not win cause they knew the judge who denied me time to defend myself and continuance was Crazy and she made sure she had to hear the case 1 day before her year term was up, even though I properly asked to have her removed.

the lesbian protem judge (x-dv atty) told me I was most certainly guilty because the old lady cried in court.

I can only hope both gets theirs whenever they reaches the pearly gates.

I have looked at the judge who in her pro-tem career has never ruled against a woman and wonder if a bar complaint against her would mean anything but I doubt it since she is retired atty and was pro tem.
