"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

The Cole kid is somewhere between a novice and a cheapskate where weapons are concerned. The rationale for the Maverick would be a bit fuzzy and indicates in-experience.
I have Mossberg Cruisers, Persuaders and Breachers which are all part of the 500 family. All have 18” barrels and none hold more than 5 rounds in the mag. In my experience the casual shooter can’t easily work a pump that is front end heavy which might explain Cole only getting off one shot. And the pump requires two hands to cycle and that means the secondary weapon has to be someplace else.
A bit of an aside but for larger mag capacity and one hand, left or right, operation I build up Remington 1100/1187’s. I can stretch the mag to 9 rounds which is a bit front end heavy but works great anyway for a “fender gun” where one might want to drive, for instance, and be able to shoot at the same time.
The Maverick series is made for the discount stores and they do little corner-cutting things with them; Plastic safeties, etc.
Don’t know if Cole is left handed but putting the spare rounds on the left side is an in-experience “tell.” For all his epistle bluster he wasn’t going to do huge damage with the gear he’s showing. And the knife looks to be a Navy MK1 style, possibly KABAR, and is a utility, not combat knife. He could hurt himself with it but Chuck Norris could stick it in his ear.
So far I haven’t heard any info on how much ammo he might have had. Was the pistol even loaded? They haven’t shown a mag. As dangerous as this was it seems the anti-Trumpers need to find a higher grade dumbass and the room was full of his supporters.
Another side note but I expect to see the girls’ dress code for events like this get modified. All those ball room gowns, and their matching underwear, got serious tensile tests when the gals started ducking for cover. We might see more high style pants suits, fer instance.

The Butler shooting was not SS incompetence ... it was intentional gross negligence. Donald Trump was expected to leave in a coffin. They didn’t even bother to locate the local hospital - just in case it might be needed. The Director of SS lied like she was covering a petty theft reported by the high school newspaper.

SS sharpshooters had a bead on the would-be assassin, asked to fire, and were told by upline to wait until would-be fired a shot. The unqualified female who was head of SS at that time quit or was forced out. Noem was not in the Trump administration at that time.

I know several people who took Chlorine dioxide, mixed the “proper” way, and all had very bad experiences, with symptoms you describe. 3 or 4 wound up in a hospital I did research on a chemists’ website and it was explained that Chlorine Dioxide cannot do what it is claimed to do.

Of course not. There was no Trump administration at the time (Butler), so no Susie Wiles and no Noem. (Butler happened during the campaign.) It was when she started her job under Trump when she wanted to make protocol changes. She was aware of problems with SS at Butler, so wanted to make changes so a similar problem wouldn’t occur.

A 12-year-old girl in France woke up covered in blood after being gang raped by two adult men in an Airbnb.
A judge just released them without a restraining order, without supervised contact restrictions... nothing.
At the hearing, the child collapsed in her lawyer’s office upon hearing the men were to be set free.
