I wonder what future archaeologists will say when they start uncovering today’s man caves?

The entire article comes down to just this:

“The chamber’s floor yielded animal remains, including bones of a lynx, a hyena and a griffon vulture. Scratch marks left by predators were also found on the rock surfaces. Most striking among the finds was the shell of a dog whelk, a marine snail, which would not have reached the chamber on its own. Its presence suggests it was carried into the space by human inhabitants, indicating deliberate activity.”

Sure do hope there’s more because none of it screams hooman.

The whelk could have been carried by a bird...scratch marks by predators doesn’t point to Oog and Ollie having a fun with meat day.

Maybe a little scratched wall art or a fire pit...then we’re talking...

Just another “amazing discovery” that proves YT has provided no significant input since the beginning of time. Each and every non YT culture that came before has contributed much much more to civilization /s

Next up: “archeologists discover first rocket to space in Neanderthal/african/inca cave”.

Do you suppose the Neanderthals in this cave looked at each other across a crowded shroom?

Many modern homo sapiens carry their DNA, so the Neanderthals must have been somehow attractive.

Neanderthals adapted to changing climates and landscapes at the end of their tenure on Earth.

They aren't extinct, they moved to the US House...Al Green, Rosa DeLauro, Maxine Waters.... 🤣

Sound like good TV. 😁

Seriously though, I love these discoveries.

And again, the Bible does not say that God said, “let us create a creature and call it man”, it says that God said...”Let us create man(as if “man” was an already known commodity) in our image...”.

So yes, it seems likely that, biblically speaking, the animal “man” existed for who knows how long before man as we know him was created in the image of God. Obviously, unless you are young earth creationist anyway.

Neanderthals were human beings. Their genus was Homo, the Latin word for "human being," which the adjective humanus corresponds to.

Lots can be learned from a site like this but so many questions remain unanswered. Like: what were their pronouns?

”Scratch marks left by predators were also found on the rock surfaces.“

That indicates predators went into the cave on their own. Sounds like the only evidence they found so far is that ANIMALS, not people, used this cave.
