According to these “experts” what you do is send your team to Geneva for some nice wine, nice food, nice atmosphere, nice scenery, and spend a couple of hours a day in hardnosed negotiations before you break off to consult with your government. This can go on for years while the opposition gets to violate the cease fire as much as they want because they aren’t civilized, but you can’t do anything because you are.
