Didn’t read the source but I’m gonna guess that a people who didn’t discover / invent the wheel didn’t invent a “computer”.

I would say the abacus is the world’s first computer. The Inca rope system may be the first computer in the America’s.

A computer is a device that allows you to calculate efficiently. It can come in many forms.

If they had a written language we would be able to learn a lot more about this. Also iron and bronze would have helped their development, that was about 4,000 BC in what is now Iraq.

They didn’t need wheels without any horses or other draft animals to hitch carts to-the Spanish brought horses to the new world early the 16th century. The Chinese had the abacus before then-they didn’t have horses either...
