I just want the truth. I don't want to hear platitudes like “just a little while longer” or “gas prices will come down soon.” Gas prices never come down quickly. I'm tired of the gaslighting.
JD will have to distance himself from this disaster if he wants a chance to become president

Unless the save act is passed it’s highly unlikely he’ll be elected President

Gas prices never come down quickly. The margin for selling gasoline is very small for Service Stations. Pennies. They survive basically on snacks and soft drinks, or operate a full service station. When their tanks are empty the have to refill at whatever the current market price demands. If oil is $100 a barrel then they have to purchase commensurate with that price. If the oil goes back down to $60 a barrel, guess what? The service station still has holding tanks filled with $100 a barrel based gasoline.
You should try running one. You could be the boss - sell your gas at less than cost immediately any time the price of oil drops. Get back to me in a year.
