Just build more A-10s. Why is that not the solution?
I think they destroyed the tools to make the A-10 several decades ago as part of the strategy to retire it.

Fairchild-Republic who built the A-10 is no longer in business. I doubt the tooling still exist. Recreating that tooling would take time and lots of money. It would be like designing AA completely new aircraft.
Build an IMPROVED A-10.
Should be plenty of suggestions and improved tech.
Build an uprated A-10 with more armor around the pilot for newer threats, newer engines, more loitor time, consider putting a defensive laser on the thing for manpads/rpgs, also consider connecting the A-10 sensors in with the current data-links.
Don’t improve it to the point it can no longer do what it does so well.
And an updated A-6.
