Every air force general who wants to kill the A-10 should be immediately retired at a reduced rank upon credible evidence of that position. And perhaps the A-10 should be transferred to the Marines.
I am wondering about the possibility of designing & building something like a newer improved version of an A-10 (A-12?) since it is an aging aircraft that really fills a niche. In the meantime, I’m sure glad that someone had the foresight to build A-10s; those things are awesome!
