The only potential “ground invasion” would be the seizing of some offshore islands. Zero chance we try to take and hold anything on the mainland.
Sounds to me like the military and warmaking infrastructure is pretty much wiped-out, so the only strategic asset Iran has left is Hormuz. They’re not going to give it up without a fight and there will be no lasting peace as long as they control it, so...
ZERO? I think similar was said three weeks ago about any troops on the ground anywhere.
We have to take something that is a big asset...and not just “ground”....so it looks like the Island....with all that oil sitting right there...
