If you ask a liberal why they are liberal, they will inform you, as modestly as they can, that their natural intellectual and moral superiority really wouldn't allow for any other outcome.

That's why you should never really bother to debate left-wingers. That would be a waste of time because they will refuse to accept anything you say, even if you show them proof beyond a doubt. Instead, you simply refuse to accept anything THEY say. You refuse to accept that they have the slightest idea what they are talking about. Laugh at them and treat them like children. Just be prepared to be screamed at or have things thrown at you.

I've come to the same conclusion. I used to have a liberal friend, and we'd debate. I'd make a point that she hadn't considered, and I could see her erase it from her mind right in front of me. Her eyes would go kind of distant for a second, and when they came back, it would be as if I hadn't said anything.
