That's why I have to use closed caption on everything I watch. I love British programming, but with all the different regions and types of speech, as well as some Brits talk too fast to keep up with them, I have to use closed captioning.

Whenever I watch any British movie, I have to turn on the closed captions.
I've found that sometimes they talk way too fast to keep up with what they are saying, thus the use of closed captions.

I didn’t realize Tommy’s video was on X. I don’t use X, but I clicked on the link in the article and see his video was from his cell phone. I lclicked on the settings (gear), and noticed there is no option to play captions. I believe that Tommy would have had to add captions to the video before he posted it. I’ve never made or edited a video myself, but I assume there is a way for people to add captions to short videos they’ve made on their phones, as I have seen them with closed captions, but have no clue how it’s done. I subscribe to various YouTube channels, and have closed captions automatically set to play on every video. I don’t know if there’s an option on X for that.

It's mind-boggling that you would think that of a fellow NATO member whom we are obliged to defend, and our traditionally greatest ally, now under siege from within that was and is being engineered by the European Union and the globalists. It is most definitely the concern of the Five Eyes nations to look out for one another's safety.
Our president and vice president have been using their tools of persuasion to urge the Brits and other Europeans to stand up and preserve their cultures, starting with Free Speech—the very freedom for which Tommy is fighting so hard, and the grounds on which he has been persecuted.

| OK, that explains it! The FR post used the X video posting as its source. So apparently the post was not delivered to X in a close caption-ready format which is relatively simple using video creation tools. In any case, I'm like you: I often will look for the Youtube version of an issue posted on FR. |
