Virginia passed SB749 (awaiting Gov. Spanberger’s signature). If signed, it bans the sale, purchase, import, manufacture, or transfer of magazines holding more than 15 rounds starting July 1, 2026. Existing magazines owned before then are grandfathered—you can keep and possess them legally. No ban on current possession.
I’m curious to know if they are plastic or steel? Since they are grandfathered in guess it doesn’t hurt to have them. I knew a guy that said his parents sent him 30 round magazines in Vietnam because the standard issue were 20 rounders. It never hurts to have a variety. I like ten rounders on the range. They handle easier on range bag rests. IMO
This is just great.
When CO passed the same thing Magpul, a CO company, started selling as many of their P-Mag 30 round magazines as you wanted to CO residents as they made plans to move out of state. It was great. I may have taken advantage of it.

The first thing the RATs did after siezing power is make sure the fix was in and that they could never be voted out. Then they raised taxes and all the other awful treasonous things we have become aware of from the RATs. The only reason they want to take away your guns is because they intend to do things that will make you want to shoot them.
Patrick Henry is rolling over in his grave. Just the other night he told George Washington, “If I knew Spamberger will be governor, I would have added, and make sure you vote for Americans, not a CIA Piece of Crap.”
Democrats are throwing a FIT as pro-gun activists are outside the Virginia State Capitol handing out free 30-ROUND AR-15 mags to folks.
But have no answers why the post office’s has so much ammo?.
I wonder if the magazines being given out will also fit a Ruger Mini-14?
