It’s Bigfoot season in Ohio.
Numerous reported sightings of the hairy beasts — which are said to be up to 10 feet tall — have been reported in the gloomiest corner of the state, leaving believers on edge.
Some are even suspecting an entire family of Sasquatches could be migrating through the region.
At least seven Bigfoot sightings have been reported across northeast Ohio since Friday, according to the minds at the Bigfoot Society, with most of the encounters coming between Akron and Youngstown in Portage County.
One of the latest alleged incidents happened Monday evening in Streetsboro, with the witness insisting she hadn’t seen any of the other reports of the sightings.
“They were passing the Tinkers Creek area when a 6-and-a-half-foot lean, brown bigfoot appeared in their lane but going against the flow of traffic,” the Bigfoot Society’s Jeremiah Byron said.
“They were so close that the witness said that her daughter could have reached out and hit the Bigfoot with her arm.”
“She was so freaked out she couldn’t turn around and go back — she is not a Bigfoot person,”

I have nieces who live in Streetsboro. I wonder what they’ve seen, if anything.
There were stories among the Native Americans and others long before the 1950s:

When I was younger I had hoped that Bigfoot was real. It was a fascinating topic to me as a kid. I live in the PNW. But the lack of a decent clear photo or footage makes it really hard to believe such a creature exists. At the very least someone would have stumbled across a body or a skeleton by now. But there are some interesting tales and accounts. There’s the 1967 Patterson–Gimlin film which many people say is legit.
As is proven by that sighting.
“The Bigfoot habitat is confined to parts of the Pacific Northwest. They can’t migrate to Ohio without being seen.”
They’re all over. Down South they’re called skunk apes and they’re not friendly at all. Plenty here in Colorado.
It was probably JD Vance out for a walk.
No, it is rosie odonnel. Ireland kicked her out.
How do you know this? Have you personally encountered them?
Safety first. One should always walk facing traffic.
Well I’ve always believed “IF” something like Bigfoot actually exists it would be I. Appalachia. Old is incomprehensible in the mountains.
There is an account that Daniel Boone shot and killed a 10 ft tall hairy man, in KY, near the Red River, back in the 1790s. That's a little bit east of the mountains though.
sorry. West of the mountains.
Damn! Beat me, and everyone else, to it.
Just reading report from BFRO.
It's amazing how people know so much about something that doesn't exist.
Funny how many bigfoot videos there are now that AI video creation is widespread and easy to learn.
My friend, nowadays you really can’t take anything you see as real unless it’s right in front of you....and even then you have to look twice.
