True. Here is a movie that is really obscure: One Cooks, the Other Doesn’t (1983 made for TV). Joseph Bologna ends up with his ex wife (Suzanne Pleshette) and new fiance the young Rosanna Arquette living together. The ex ends up overcoming dislike and teaches the young one how to cook. He then comes to his senses and realizes Pleshette had more qualities he liked and they had more in common so they get back together.
Stupid movie.
