The reality is that Iran has already been the source of untold financial loss and problems. Everything now is geared to preventing terrorism, and it costs money. It won’t stop, and as soon as Iran launches a Nuke, people would look back and ask why we didn’t take the cheap route.
The only thing illegal is if Trump continues the conflict beyond the time provided by the War powers act. This is one, which I hope that he does come to Congress and get a vote, near 60 days. People should be able to see who their Congress people actually support.
To the tune of $38 trillion of U.S. debt?? LOL.
I have problems with this whole thing. Iran is certainly a serious threat. But it’s not an immediate threat. Shouldn’t Congress be more involved here?
I truly don’t know the answer to that. Today’s Congress is full of nitwits, and also folks who outright hate this country. It’s not Eisenhower’s America any more.
” People should be able to see who their Congress people actually support.”
Bravo in your statement. But that has already been established. Iran has threatened the American people with ballistic missile launches and we’ve stopped them. They have threatened and attacked their neighbors especially Israel our main ally in the region, and they have falsely tried to cover their violent acts against people by claiming their innocent civilians are being attacked. And congress has, in both houses, been critical in stopping it. I don’t think we will learn anything more about their failures. They’ve already displayed them for the world to see. And they don’t care either that they’ve done it or been uncovered with their intent. Good thought, though.
