Yep. Silent Cal. “I made a bet that I can get you to say three words.” “You lose.”

“I’ll take Ben Franklin”
Heard that, I’d pick Jefferson...or maybe Teddy Roosevelt.

A different question from who do I think was the best.
I'd like to sit next to Ike. I'd be interested in his reminiscences of the war.

Calvin Coolidge.
Because he would shut up and let me read in peace.

A comatose Woodrow Wilson. I don’t want to chat with anyone on a plane.

Are they all alive, or are we sitting next to them in their current state?

Washington.
I need the aisle seat so I can go to the bathroom.

Lincoln looks like he might carry on an interesting conversation.
But if I just wanted to catch some winks, I’d go for Millard Fillmore XD

I say Calvin Coolidge too.
Am heartened to see his name here more than the others.
I’d sit my wife next to William Henry Harrison who died of pneumonia in less than a month after taking office and after giving a 2 hour inaugural speech in the cold and rain. She likes to talk.

Jefferson. He wrote most of the Constitution and I’d have him fix a few things. Alternatively, Andrew Johnson who was President when the 14th amendment came into being. It needs much stronger wording and clarification.

Madison wrote most of the Constitution. Jefferson was not present at the Constitutional Convention.

Jefferson wrote none of the Constitution. He was the ambassador to France at the time.
Madison was the Father of the Constitution.

Not sure about that, flying splinters from his teeth and all 😆. But seriously, I would love the chance to talk to Abe. He was probably the most consequential President after George. Trump is an easy pick but we know far more about him than the others.
To: bitt
Maybe Monroe, except that after I describe to him what has been done to his Constitution, especially the commerce clause, he might take over the plane and fly it into the Capitol.
