If you listen to the clip, what he says isn’t exactly what is claimed in the headline. It’s not as much about the actual J6 people as what they’ve been called - white supremacists, anarchists, etc. The truth is that the violence on J6 was happening before any of the Trump supporters even got there. The ones doing stuff that way WERE anarchists, etc but mostly they were actors. The narrative is that it was the Trump supporters who were out of hand but that’s not exactly true.
There’s a Hollywood producer who has gone through the footage and shown the props that were set up ahead of time, the actors going in and out of their roles, the cues given to start the acting, the actors there in other acting roles as “protesters”, etc. It was totally a script. And that will hopefully eventually be recognized.
But Cornyn is just talking about the varieties of what the narrative called “domestic terrorists” on J6. The truth is that these same actions were done by the same people as BLM riots, Antifa riots, and now ICE riots. It’s the same people but it’s blamed on Trump supporters now.
Cornyn goes through the charges that have been used on these people - what we now know are the BLM/Antifa/ICA protester types that haven’t been charged in other cases but just when they are framed as Trump supporters: obstrucing a proceeding, attacking officers, trespassing, etc. ALL OF THESE THINGS COULD/SHOULD BE APPLIED TO THE ICE PROTESTERS, BLM, ETC. But he’s asking if there should be specific charges for just plain terrorism, which is what the threats of riots used by leftists routinely actually are.
I want Paxton because he’s a fighter. I think Cornyn is a good-ol’-boy RINO. But this clip isn’t the stab in the back to MAGA that it is made out to be.
Nice analysis
If Paxton weren’t so Sleazy I would be happier with him
That’s how I feel about the situation, too. Cornyn had his shot. He’s not McCain level. But he’s climbing on that arc. Primary’s and elections are the tools we have to bring about change when constituents aren’t happy with their representative.
Well, what is it, then?
