I wonder if Cornyn has changed his tune about the “hostages” question since SCOTUS ruled that the prosecutors wrongfully used statutes to accuse these people of what aren’t actually crimes, and used procedures to make sure they got higher sentences than were allowable for even the crimes that SCOTUS says these people didn’t commit.
I also wonder if he’s been informed of the J6 prisoners’ conditions in prison, including judicial wrong-doing to keep them from getting necessary medical care or defenders who aren’t their political enemies.
The people who PLANNED the stuff on J6 SHOULD BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW, indeed. But Ray Epps - the man visibly seen on video pushing and directing the lawless stuff - got a pass. As did Pelosi and Bowser, who the Capitol Police at one point said “set us up”. Or General Milley, who performed a coup against Trump to keep National Guardsmen from helping out. AFAIK they have not charged the actors who tore down the fences, etc before the Trump supporters even got there, nor have they found out who placed all the props there ahead of time. And they haven’t found out who paid those actors who set the stage for the Trump supporters to not know what was allowed or not when they finally got there. They’ve not prosecuted the cops who waved the people in.
Our treasonous media and treasonous Deep State make it hard to know whether our lawmakers are also treasonous or just stupid and deceived. After seeing what we’ve seen from the Deep State crooks and media, though, anybody who still falls for the lies is too dumb to be trusted with the nation’s best interests. So no matter how you slice it, Cornyn is not fit for the job.
You can fix ignorance (deceived). But you can't fix stupid.
