I still have and use my grandmother’s egg beater. It’s so much easier and faster than pulling out the electric hand mixer for certain jobs.

I do have a rotary phone still, but it’s no longer hooked up. :(
My house is half antique shop, and half more modern. I love combining the items to a very comfortable mix. Whenever we have guests, they often comment (positively) on how I’ve mixed the old with the new. Always a hat-tip to the past for me. I love the old stuff. It reminds me of my parents and grandparents.
We did eventually get rid of our waterbed. It wasn’t until the 2000’s though. Couldn’t afford a queen sized mattress and bed springs in those days.
