You should see the toaster, can openers, and all those gadgets from the 50s that we had....the ice man, the rag man...and everyone had a button box.
My smart TV has rabbit ears...I don’t need cable...

We got electricity, running water and phone when I was 7.
Went to a 1 room elementary school.
Used a slide rule in high school.
I have and use the old toasters, can openers, and gadgets…from the 20’s to the present. I love the old vintage stuff, and most of it works better than the newer stuff. I have several pieces from my grandparents (20’s to the 60’s), my parents (50’s to the 90’s) and then my stuff (mid 80’s to current times), in my kitchen, and in my home. I use a lot of it every day. Every day. It’s the stuff that grounds me, and makes me feel happy. Wouldn’t trade any of them for the world.
