This is not the typical response that occurs when an ordinary citizen is hassled by a couple of thugs. Usually, you're just on your own. But, in this case, an Important Person was involved. We all need to know our place.

Lurie probably didn't want the cop bleeding all over the leather upholstery of his black SUV.

So... it's okay for leftists to block streets for causes they deem acceptable but when a leftist politician and their "all cops are bastards" henchmen want to drive down the street - then it's threats of arrest and acts of violence.
