British Miss @CleansedTweets | I am blown away that this is the size of the UK's navy in 2026. Shocked. I had no clue it had been reduced to this tiny flotilla. 😭

That's assuming they can get all them underway at once.

They usually can't deploy more than one third.

Britain has always been stupid. That’s why their sorry asses are where they are today.

Goth Waifu Amelia is now the mascot of UK nationalism and has gone viral after the UK panicked and took her game down.

Is it really a navy if it no longer floats?

I guess they do not believe in peace through strength. Sad for their future.

My Father-in-law fought in WWII radioman on B17…shot down over Nazi Swiss territory…POW…he and some of his crewmates escaped and met up with the free French and fought with them until end of hostilities. He would be disgusted by this degradation of British military readiness. God bless him, RIP Pop!

you are changingt he topic.

you asked why the Royal Navy wasn’t stopping the migrants boats coming across the channel.

I told you that

Under the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), any vessel—including a Royal Navy destroyer—is legally obligated to rescue people in distress. Smugglers know this. They often use unseaworthy, overcrowded boats. If a Navy ship approaches to “block” them, the migrants may jump into the water or sabotage the boat. At that point, the Navy’s mission shifts from “interdiction” to “rescue.”

Legally, the UK cannot simply push a boat back into French waters without French permission. If the Navy picks them up in British waters, they are legally required to bring them to a UK port to process their asylum claims.

Als, detecting a 20-foot rubber boat among hundreds of massive cargo ships, tankers, and fishing vessels is like trying to find a specific needle in a moving haystack. A naval vessel is much larger.

A £1 billion Type 45 Destroyer is designed to track supersonic missiles, not tiny plastic boats. Using one to stop a dinghy is like using a sniper rifle to swat a fly—it’s the wrong tool for the job. This is why the UK Border Force and the RNLI (Lifeboats) handle most of the work, rather than the “Grey Hull” Navy.

Do you think the USN aircraft carriers stop small boat crossings in the Gulf of America?

These are active personnel, ready for battle.

They are full-time professional soldiers whose primary job is military service.

The total number that the army employs is somewhere more - 120K

It all depends on where the enemy is - the Royal Navy was terribly weak in the 1600s and that is why in 1688 the UK was basically conquered by the Netherlands, who had a strong navy.

It changed in the 1700s - primarily driven by the need to protect its colonies in the Americas, and to protect its trade with India (it didn’t manage to conquer territory in the Indian subcontinent until 1757

From 1757 to 1900 it was the strongest navy in the world, but that was as it was a thassalocracy with an overseas empire.

Now they don’t have this — they should have a better navy than they have now, no doubt, but they have no need to be anywhere near the USN’s size

There won’t be a navy by 2050.

There won't be any native Brits by 2050.

Just as well. The jihadis don't need a navy no matter how small.

It takes a lot of money to give all the people the world’s finest Dental plan. Something has to give.

The UK has nine subs not accounted for in the photo. Surprising it’s that many. Who knows if they are all sea worthy.

That would scare many a rubber dingy from France.

No, actually it encourages the dingies.

Nukes are why Muslims are flooding into England and France. They’ve realized that if their own country can’t get nukes, their next best bet is to take over countries that already have them.
