This is a dangerous precedent in American law. I feel for the parents of victims, but whew. this is a slippery slope that will lead to unjust results.
We will be having trials like this every week in Chicago if we apply the law equally to all parents.
Not a dangerous precedent, but a step in the right direction. It forces parents of feral teens to raise responsible children.
And if it takes trials like this every week kin Chicago, then at some point sanity and normalcy will return.
