What is happening to Iran is historic. Never before has an Islamic country had a revolt against Islam itself. The only time Islam has lost territory has been when outside forces have been victorious. I really wonder about that. When the dust settles, they will still have a large enough proportion of Moslems in their country that it will be next to impossible to get a western style government. Luckily Trump is in charge and he is not likely to embed Islam into any new constitution like Bush did in Iraq.
