You've caught me shy... I didn't even know about that. I am a bit surprised Russia went to the expense - but I only have a basic knowledge of those systems. I have never personally used GPS, although I have ridden with my son who does sometimes use it.

In my limited experience with GPS, one time it indicated a road where there was none - and another time it indicated no road where there was one: a high speed limited access expressway. I suspect in the latter case that the person's GPS needed to be updated.
