When it comes to striking Iran, Donald Trump has been consistent for 47 years. Look at this clip from October 1980 when he called for military intervention to free American hostages taken during the Iranian Revolution. Also FYI: during his 2016,2020 and 2024 presidential campaigns, he consistently said multiple times that Iran “will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.” Below is the 1980 transcript:

Iron/Steel and Oil primarily. Their acquisition of a lot of the rubber sources really pushed petroleum rubber development IIRC.
I’m pretty sure it was oil and steel.
Oil will open up again once Iran is settled. Just going to cost more to the Chinese.
