With any luck, this will lead to a big shakeup at CNN.

“I am not a Netflix fan.”

I still miss Blockbuster, LOL!

I really DID enjoy their DVD mail service. It was the best for those of us living in the boonies with no cable or dish and no access to a Blockbuster, anymore. ;)

Other than that - they can go to H#ll.

Netflix won.

The best deals are often the ones you do not make and walk away from.

Not only would Netflix have overpaid big time, it was going into unfamiliar territory.

As far as I can tell Netflix is the only paid subscription service making meaningful money.

Why try to fix what ain’t broken.

As far as Paramount goes they really overpaid.

I know its early but CBS under Paramount doesn’t look much different that it did before.

Time will tell if Ellison is a media mogul that can make things work.

What I’m going to be looking at is Susan Rice on the Netflix board.

Sarandos wanted this buyout in the worst way and it appears that Rice did as much to put a nail in the deal’s coffin as anyone.

It would be sweet if Sarandos made Rice a scapegoat and he gets her off the board.

Me too. Don’t have a vast holding in WBD, but am standing at +300% profit right now. I wanted Paramount to win; Netflix is evil
