Searching for their own name just shows the lack of trust they have in the DOJ probably as much as anything. Marjorie Taylor Greene was seemingly rightfully upset that her name was in there, as she said later, because she wasn’t even a member of Congress yet, or nationally known by anyone, by the time Epstein was dead. The DOJ excuse seemed to be that the files weren’t actually only Epstein’s files, but other recent things involving his critics. Many other prominent names were completely left out like Tom Hanks leading to further questions. Bottom line the whole thing seems to have been horribly managed

The big question now is if any of the Congress people who saw the names are now going to use their right to free speech to release them. So far, they haven’t been willing to, with Alan Dershowitz, promising to sue anyone who does, and Nancy Mason even posting on X that she fears for her life.
