So Epstein hired PI's to rent storage units, fill them with stuff, and pay the monthly rental fees.

When Epstein died, did anyone take over the scam, paying the monthly fees to the PI's? Not likely, IMO.
Could someone else have hired the PI's to empty the locker and give the stuff to them?
Could a PI have sold the stuff himself? There might be some highly interested buyers for some of it.
Or did it all go unclaimed and the rental place auctioned it off (highly unlikely, IMO).

Doubtful anyone picked up the payments once he died.

Who knows what
was auctioned and spread out all over who knows where
in the possession of who knows
much of which is on CDs that can't be opened without some passwords
and maybe tossed as junk.

Who would Epstein be protecting ? Not Trump.
