just speculation regarding a possible reason for the apparently ridiculous breast size that you mentioned ... that’s all ... not likely though, as capon meat wouldn’t generally be sold like mass-produced chickens as capon meat is a premium product that takes longer to raise and is more succulent than mass-produced chicken ...

Yeah, when I buy chicken, it's from a local Amish company that supplies my Piggly Wiggly grocery store, but I'm sure it's just everyday chickens, nothing fancy. ;)

I DO loves me a Deli Rotisserie chicken, though! I can make 4 meals from one of those, plus chicken stock.

I truly believe that the chicken is one of the most useful critters on the planet. ;)
