Idiots like Pritzker must not know what a tariff is.
Nobody is forcing consumers to purchase foreign products. They can just as easily purchase American made products (with no tariffs applied). If the consumer wishes to buy the more expensive foreign import, then that’s on them.
Well Pritzker is an idiot, but there has been a lot of misleading info out there. Let's start with the basics. Who pays them? Is it the country of origin, or the country of import? As in, is it a tax on Americans, or a tax on exporters like China?
