We made our kids work for everything they have. Had jobs and responsibilities when at home. Both owned houses before they were 30. But alot of our peers did not raise their kids that way. The sad sacks will be after their contemporaries next because of their missed opportunities. Always someone elses fault.
Do you even distinguish between those who fought in WWII and their children, the baby boom?

No.it was part of the huge jumpstart in our post ww2 economy.
If your parents are more successful, then you have a better chance at being successful.

It’s taken out of all our checks. There is no voluntary giving. That is the reason for the quote marks.
I can see how that makes sense. When I sold my second home in Florida to move back to Maryland for higher pay, the home prices were too high, so I became a renter. I would gladly give up my vote if it meant you homeowners will elect sane politicians. I can only hope most affluent, white liberal women don’t actually own their own homes in such a case.
