Early in my career, I mentored both men and women.
In the middle part of my career, I mentored men, but dropped all the women.
In the last stage of my career, I basically stopped talking to women in the workplace, except during team meetings in conference rooms.
Men should have nothing to do with women in the workplace.
I work for a manufacturer of building supplies. Lumber yards are remarkably politically incorrect. We have a handful of female sales reps and they are all just one of the guys. Most of them greet me with a hug that they initiate.
The females in the office are a wholly different story. I avoid them as much as possible.
GREAT advice.
It’s getting that way. But I can think of a way a male/female couple in cahoots with each other, could “fake” harassment, and the woman get get big bucks lawsuit money, guy eventually gets fired and she quits and they share the loot.... wouldn’t be surprised if it hasn’t been done already...
“Nothing to do with women in workplace??
Met my wife there some 40 years ago (beats bars are dating apps)
Sure when it really got serious we went separate jobs and companies - but I don’t regret a day for pursuing that contact.
