Im reminded of a book by some behind the scenes hollywood mover and shaker. In his book he recounted the time he organized a huge charity event (I think it was held overseas in France). One of those invited to the event was Cher.
She agreed to appear, but then made a last minute demand that she be flown to the event in a Gulfstream jet. Because this was a last minute request, time was too short for the charity to pay for it. So, the organizer had to pay for the Gulfstream rental with his own personal credit card. And the jet was sent to pick Cher up. Many hours later the jet returned empty.
It was a Gulfstream 3 and Cher doesnt fly on anything less than a Gulfstream 4.
But, I’d bet Cher is a “global warming” nut.
Yeah, this guy specified a “jet you can stand upright in” and had a proper toilet.”
Which was why the charity hit us up. He’s a big guy, so I get it.
I use one of the planes (generally a King Air unless it’s a long flight) once a week and it’s for things like “need to go from BFE Texas to BFE Oklahoma/Colorado/Alaska/Australia.
Trying to that commercial would take days and involve long car rides vs getting in, getting some work done and arriving an hour later.
