Time will tell once this episode is over, and we learn what happened here.

Off topic, but I do hope there are things behind the scenes that are not publicized , that law enforcement is doing to solve this crime. I know it doesn’t look good that they’ve detained some people, but then those people are not considered suspects, and are released by law enforcement.

I would expect a right-wing nut job. While the overwhelming majority of the political violence in this country is from the left, there are right-wing nuts out there as well.

I suspect that Savannah did a story on ... something or someone and, given that's she's on NBC, there's a pretty high chance that the story in question was perceived to be a long, long way from fair.

Kidnapping Savannah's mother hurts Savannah a lot more than if he/they hurt Savannah directly.
